Our first evening this year is Saturday and it will be a nice evening – I have decided it WILL be dry

Our recent sub increase did not even cover cost of previous increases so please remember this when writing to us or renewing subs – donations very much appreciated.

We have read of walkouts in some sorting offices in the last few days and I have learnt that post is stacked up at our new sorting office at Hemel Hempstead and is unlikely to be cleared before the New Year. Given that post has not been arriving since before the move from Watford if you have written to us and not received a reply please get in touch again – we are not ignoring you – we are just being let down by the postal system.

But I would like to say our own regular postie is a super guy who has been doing the job for many years. We miss him when he has holidays or is off sick.

We really do need some extra help to set up and get the people in – lots of complaints last time because of not being able to get in quickly enough, but there is only so much we can do on our own.
